GMS Power Public Company Limited

GMS Power is one of Thailand's leading private power developers.  Established in 1991, the company is focused on developing independent power projects throughout the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), encompassing the Yunnan province of China, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.  GMS Power has led the development of several pioneering projects in the GMS region, including the initial development in 1998 and subsequent extension and expansion in 2013 of the Theun-Hinboun Power Project in the Lao PDR, as well as Eastern Power and Electric's Bang Bo natural gas fired combined cycle power plant in Samut Prakarn, Thailand, which commenced commercial operation in 2003. GMS Power is also actively pursuing several other projects in the GMS region, including in Laos and Myanmar.
